Effective from July 1, 2025, India’s oil marketing companies have implemented a ₹58.50 price reduction on the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder—bringing much-needed relief to restaurants, hotels, dhabas, and other businesses.

For instance, the price in Delhi has dropped from Rs 1,723.50 to Rs 1,665, while Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai have seen comparable decreases—down to ₹1,616.50, ₹1,769, and Rs 1,823.50 respectively.

This marks the fourth consecutive monthly cut for commercial cylinders—cumulative savings now exceed Rs 138–Rs 144 since March.

However, domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinders remain at their current price—no reduction has been announced. Prices currently hover around ₹853 in Delhi, ₹852.50 in Mumbai, Rs 879 in Kolkata, and Rs 868.50 in Chennai.

The monthly pricing review is tied to global crude rates, the rupee-dollar exchange rate, and logistics costs. With crude oil around US$66/barrel, companies have passed on more savings to commercial users than to households.
